The South Beach Symposium (SBS) provides comprehensive education for practicing medical professionals to stay informed on the newest therapies, technologies, procedures and practice guidelines in medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine. The South Beach Symposium was founded in 2002 as an annual clinical and aesthetic dermatology conference held in Miami Beach, Florida. In 2015, the SBS launched its online educational resource center offering busy practitioners the opportunity to earn dermatology and aesthetic medicine continuing education on demand. SBS continues to expand its educational offerings with various educational conferences held throughout the year across the country in addition to the annual conference held in Miami Beach.
SBS prides itself on consistently providing innovative methods of education through highly interactive formats including live demonstrations and interactive panel and roundtable discussions with world-renowned faculty. For almost two decades the SBS has served as the benchmark for other educational conferences offering attendees the opportunity to learn transferrable skills, real-time pearls, and best-practice techniques that can easily be adapted to their current practice environment.
The South Beach Symposium is produced by Tarsus®. The acquisition of the SBS in November of 2014 expanded Tarsus' medical division, Tarsus Medical Group, to include live and online medical education offerings for the dermatology and aesthetic medicine community.
