The Hands-On Cadaver Workshop is back for 2025 and better than ever!

This unique, hands-on workshop has been a much-favored experience for our cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology practitioners attending the South Beach Symposium.

This year, we are expanding our offerings to be even more educational, inclusive, and innovative for attending practitioners of all backgrounds and experience levels. See below to determine which experience package best complements your educational goals at the SBS 2025 conference!

Dr. Lorenc is a world-renowned aesthetic plastic surgeon who balances surgical expertise with an acute aesthetic sense of composition and proportion in the areas of facial rejuvenation, breast enhancement and body contouring. Since establishing his private Park Avenue practice, Lorenc Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, he has been actively involved in research, development and advancement of new aesthetic surgical and nonsurgical techniques and procedures.

Attendees with the complete hands-on experience package (6-hour workshop) will have access to:

A 90-minute cosmetic facial anatomy presentation and cadaver prosection by program chair Dr. Z. Paul Lorenc
A 2-hours-30-minute hands-on cadaver head dissection and aesthetic injections experience
- In small groups of 4-5, attendees will dissect a cadaver head, make note of the cosmetic facial anatomy, including vascular danger zones, key muscle groups, and layers of the skin to inform injection techniques
- Attendees will be guided by expert faculty (MDs and PAs) in the dissection as well as the proper injection of toxins, fillers, and biostimulators in various planes and anatomical areas of the face
A 60-minute observation of expert faculty injections of live patients using fillers, toxins, and biostimulators, with ultrasound verification, including the opportunity for a close-up view of injection techniques and Q&A with the injectors and PAs
A 30-minute discussion of potential complications of facial injections, including how to avoid and how to address, and an additional Q&A opportunity with expert faculty
Lunch, coffee, and refreshments will be provided
Attendees will receive an official certificate of participation

Observer Pass

Observational Cosmetic Facial Anatomy Experience

Attendees with the Observer Pass will have access to:

A 90-minute cosmetic facial anatomy presentation and cadaver prosection by program chair Dr. Z. Paul Lorenc
A 60-minute exclusive, close-up observation experience featuring expert faculty injections of live patients using fillers, toxins, and biostimulators, with ultrasound verification, for attendees with an Observer Pass only.
